Erste Versuche einer eigenen Bildsprache. POPART-Motive und OPART-Elemente werden miteinander verbunden. Das Spiel mit Vordergrund-Hintergrund-Effekten wird zum Gestaltungsprinzip der Bilder. Häufig Reduzierung auf ein bis zwei Farben je Bild mit drei bis fünf Farbtönen. Bei den kleineren Formaten eigener Rahmenbau mit individueller, passender Farbgestaltung.
